Lawrence H. Schreiber, 62

EASTON, Md. - Lawrence H. Schreiber of Easton died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, in Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was 62.

Mr. Schreiber was born June 9, 1944, in Baltimore, son of the late Lawrence G. and Kathryn (Eberling) Schreiber.

He graduated from North Caroline High School.

Mr. Schreiber worked in various positions at E.I. DuPont, retiring in 1992. Following his retirement, he took a position with the state of Delaware, where he remained until retiring in 2004.

A former member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, he was also a former member of the Easton Moose Lodge 1520, the Elks Lodge in Delaware where he was a past exalted ruler and a former Little League and men"s softball coach in Easton.

In his spare time, Mr. Schreiber enjoyed bowling, playing men"s softball, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Scott and Lorie Schreiber of Hurlock; three sisters, Josephine Racz of Henderson, Kathryn Holt of Baltimore and Anna Marie Schreiber of Texas; and two grandchildren, Kaley Schreiber and Koby Schreiber.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, Easton, where friends may call one hour earlier. Friends may also call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Greensboro.
