'Larry', 78
MILFORD - On December 23, 2023, Lawrence H. Davis "Larry" peacefully went home to be with the Lord.
Larry was born in Milford on May 21, 1945 to the late Harold and Lucy Davis.
He graduated from Milford High School in 1963. After graduating Larry joined the Air Force and honorably served our country for over 25 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He also served as an Aircraft Mechanic at Lockheed Martin.
Larry was also an aviation pilot and flight instructor and well known for his flight experience and knowledge. He flew planes for pleasure but also enjoyed flying commercially for various aviation businesses. Larry flew skydivers at various drop zones in many states where many skydiving stories, friendships and memories were made. He was a member of the Aircraft Owners Pilots Association (A.O.P.A.), a member of the Delaware Farm Bureau, Milford Elks Lodge, Milford Moose Lodge, V.F.W., and the N.R.A.
Larry enjoyed hunting and flying, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Kelly. He enjoyed watching her in sporting events but took great pleasure in watching her playing and driving her Can Am around his farms.
