Lawrence Francis Lucas Sr.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Lawrence Francis Lucas Sr., of Las Vegas, formerly of Frederica, Del., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, in an assisted-living home, The Plaza Sun Mountain. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Ellington Lucas, who died in March 2005. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Anne E. and Roy Chrobot, Mary E. and Richard Sullivan, and Laurie F. and Edward Jaffe; and a son, Lawrence F. (Skip) Lucas Jr. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, Sept. 16 in Holy Cross Church, 631 South State St., Dover, DE 19901. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to, Home Health and Hospice, 6950 Via Olivero Ave., Suite B-4, Las Vegas, NV 89117. Arrangements by Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, DE 19963.
