Lawrence F. 'Greg' Villers, 44

DOVER - Lawrence F. "Greg" Villers, of Dover, passed away at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover, on Friday, Fe. 6, 2009. He was 44. Greg was born March 21, 1964, in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the son of the late Lawrence F. Villers and Martha Joyce Massey Watts. He worked as a self-employed master plumber. Greg had a strong sense of humor, and was known to help many people out of the goodness of his heart. He loved two-step dancing and was a proud red-neck. Greg was also proud to be a distant relative of the founder of the Jack Daniels Whiskey Company. He was also a member of the Moose Club in Smyrna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Villers. Greg is survived by his wife, Bettyann Villers; three daughters, Nikki Neal of Woodbury, Tenn., Tiffany Villers of Smyrna, Tenn., and Susan Freeman and her husband, Jeremy of Shelbyville, Tenn.; two sons, Robert Blevins and his wife, Alefia of Frederick, Md., and Richard Bracewell of Fayetteville, Tenn.; two brothers, Richard Villers of Dover and Daniel Villers of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Judy Jardine and her children, Erica and Derek, all of Smyrna; and two grandsons and six granddaughters. A viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main Street, Smyrna. Services and burial will be private.
