DOVER - Laura Lewis passed away, Friday April 8, 2016 at home. Mrs. Lewis was born April 4, 1945 in Kanawha County, W.Va., to the late William Ralph Crowder, and Ruth Emmajean Payne Crowder. She was the oldest of 13 children. She was a homemaker and enjoyed yard work, sewing, cooking, the holidays, especially Christmas, but her biggest passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max E. Lewis in 2013; son, Paul Harmon in 2008. She is survived by her daughters, Victoria Brodeur and her husband Jeff of Coral Springs, Fla., Tracy Perez and her husband Arturo of Norco, Calif.; grandchildren, Laura Lynn Welser, Thomas Brodeur, Brittany, Alexander and Kelsey Lewis, April and Amber Brodeur; great-grandchildren, Rayne Welser, Jeffrey Brodeur, Kayden Welser, and Samuel S. Lewis Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, (Rt. 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
