Larry Bailey, 45

WILMINGTON - Larry Bailey of Wilmington departed this life Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007, in Christiana Care-Christiana Hospital, Newark. He was 45.

Larry was born Aug. 11, 1961, son of Selena Watson Sr. and Mary Bailey.

He attended Milford Senior High School and later went to Job Corp. He was employed at Christiana Hospital, where he worked in food service.

Larry was a well-known, outgoing person. He was a loving and giving and never minded helping others. He loved and kept memories of his family.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronell Bailey.

He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Montgomery and her husband Otto of Seaford; four sons, Larry Lewis and Robert Lewis, both of New York, David Lewis and his wife Latisha of Slaughterneck, and Larry Davis of New Castle; his parents, Selena Watson Sr. of Dover and Mary Bailey of New Castle; three sisters, Debra Bailey and Evonne Bailey, both of Wilmington and Kimberly Bailey of New Castle; four brothers, Leon Bailey of Virginia, Lonzo Bailey of New Castle, Selena Bailey of Dover and Sean Bailey of Wilmington; seven grandchildren, Anissa, Jawan, Grace, Davonté , Lanae, Eli and Davion; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

Services will be 2 .p.m. Saturday in St. Paul United Methodist Church, Milford, where friends may view two hours prior.

Burial will be in Old Hickory Cemetery, Slaughterneck.

Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Milford.
