Bridgeville - Kevin Shawn Conaway passed away on June 3, 2018 with his wife Lisa and brother Guy by his side.
Kevin was born on Jan. 20, 1958 with farming in his blood. By 11, he was on the back of a tractor, working the family farm with his father, Bob. He graduated from Woodbridge High School and then attended the University of Maryland where he earned a degree in Agriculture Science. Following graduation from college, he returned to Bridgeville to begin farming full time. He later became manager of Newton Farms, which he ran with his wife. In his off time, Kevin enjoyed tinkering with his farm equipment, boating, and he was a fantastic cook. Kevin cherished his family and friends, including his loyal companion Marley. He was a frequent and friendly face around town where he always had a smile or funny comment to share.
He was preceded in death by his father, William R. Conaway.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lisa; his mother, Joanna Conaway; his brother, Guy (Marybeth, Drew, Josh) Conaway; his aunt, Charlotte Conaway; and a large extended family.
Memorial arrangements will be made at a later date.
