DOVER — The annual Sakura Mini Matsuri, a mini Cherry Blossom Festival, will be held from 1:30-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 at the Kent County Public Library.
In Japanese, “sakura” means cherry blossom, and a “matsuri” is a festival.
The festival will include Japanese-inspired crafts (while they last), and a free performance by the KyoDaiko community taiko drum troupe of Philadlephia. Japanese/Asian-inspired clothing and family-friendly cosplay welcome.
Weather permitting, KyoDaiko will perform outside the library, bring a chair.
Kent County Public Library is at 497 S. Red Haven Lane.
