MILFORD - Kenneth A. Smith of Milford died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at his home. He was 50.
He was born in Milford, son of the late Martin E. and Bernice W. (Wilson) Smith of Milford.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a delivery man for Grotto Pizza for 15 years.
Mr. Smith was a member of Avenue United Methodist Church in Milford.
He loved taking his children on Civil War education trips and to the beach and fishing. He also loved his dog.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 14 years, Donna "Zigler" Smith; two children, Jacob Zigler and Matthew Smith, both of Milford; one stepdaughter, Nidia Webb; two stepsons, Zachary Webb and Benjamin Webb, both of Ellendale; a sister, Sheren Merritt of Hockessin; three brothers, Lawrence A. Smith of Burke, Va., Daniel A. Smith of Germantown, Md., and Jeff E. Smith of Milford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, where friends may call after noon.
Interment will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
