Judith Ann McCabe, 60
DOVER - Judith Ann McCabe of Dover died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 60.
Mrs. McCabe was born June 4, 1947, in Philadelphia, to Margaret Louise (Mazzola) Peacock and the late James B. Peacock.
She worked as an administrative assistant for the Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia. After leaving the shipyard she went to work for Dover Air Force Base, where she retired in 2005, in civil service as a ward clerk, mostly in the maternity ward.
Mrs. McCabe enjoyed gardening and crocheting, and was an Elvis fan.
She was a very loving and caring person.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Mrs. McCabe is survived by her mother, Margaret Peacock of Jenkintown, Pa.; her husband of 21 years, Stephen Patrick McCabe of Dover; her son, Gene Aarons of Lewes; her two daughters, Barbara Aarons and Kim McCabe, both of Dover; her granddaughter, Jamie Aarons; five brothers, Jim Peacock of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Bob Peacock of Tampa, Fla., Bruce Peacock of Abington, Pa., David Peacock of Hatboro, Pa., and Rick Peacock of Southampton, Pa.; a sister, Carolyn Grandinetti of North Wales, Pa.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m.
Interment will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
