LAUREL - Joseph Wayne Millman passed away Sun., May 3, 2015 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. He was a plumber for many years with Harold Short Plumbing. He enjoyed working on tractors, going to auctions and spending time with his grandkids. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. and Mabel V. (Willey) Millman; a brother, Harry Millman; a sister, Mildred Short; and his companion, Star VanVorst. He is survived by two sons, James (Michelle) and Jackson VanVorst; six siblings, Helen Wilson, Norman Millman, Shirley Taylor, Ronald (Dee) Millman, Bob (Pat) Millman, and Daniel (Darlene) Millman; and four grandchildren, Abigail, Lily and Mykayla VanVorst and Brianna Horan. A funeral service will be held Fri., May 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, with visitation after 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in McColley's Cemetery in Redden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
