DOVER - John "Marty" Walter Martinski, Jr. passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Kent General Hospital.
Mr. Martinski was born April 7, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland to John Walter Martinski, Sr. and the late Beverly Kohne Martinski.
After high school he joined the Merchant Marines and had been a Captian of a tugboat, retiring after 35 years. Mr. Martinski enjoyed motorcycles and classic rock.
In addition to his mother; he was preceded in death by Robbin Gale Powell.
He is survived by his children, Johnny Walter Martinski, Julie Ann Gann both of Chicago, Ill. and Jessica Martinski of Dover; sister, Margaret Rush and her husband Curtis; grandchildren, Madison, Jackson, and Shawna; niece, Patricia Rush; nephew, Donavan Rush.
Services are private.
