DOVER - John R. Cottrell, born Dec. 9th, 1927 in Troy, N.Y., passed away Dec. 24th, 2015. Retired Air Force Veteran who proudly served 30 years. Beloved husband of Virginia, Loving Pop of John Raymond (Mary Pat), Scott Warren (Michelle), Betsy Lanphier Dupert (Steve) & James Bowers (Pam) Proud Pop Pop of seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren also survive. Dear brother of Paul and Carl Cottrell. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28th, 2015. Funeral service on Tuesday 12 noon at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming De 19934.
