Joanne Richardson Clothier, 84
CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Joanne Richardson Clothier passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at her home.
Born on July 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hill and Gertrude Ewing Richardson. She graduated from Centreville High School, class of 1954. She married Henry Lester Clothier, who predeceased her in 1983. Mrs. Clothier worked as a secretary for University of Maryland and later for Campbell Soup Company, Truslow Farms, Acme and retired as a secretary for Washington College in 2009. She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments Figurines and Snow Villages. Mrs. Clothier loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Jo Clothier of Toddville, Md. and Christi Joy Wilson of Worton, Md.; a sister, Norma Jean Fishpaw of Evington, Va.; three grandchildren, Eric L. Wilson of Worton, Md., Brandon L. Wilson of Worton, Md. and Kyle Wilson of Baltimore, Md.; and two great grandchildren, Brandon Elijah Wilson and Isaiah Vernell Wilson. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph E. Richardson and James E. Richardson, Robert L. Richardson; and her beloved dog, Dutchess.
Services will be held privately.
