Jessie E. Fefel of Frankford passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, in Green Valley Terrace Nursing Home, Millsboro. She was 92.
She was born in Virginia, daughter of the late Robert J. and Naomie (Shores) Kelley.
Mrs. Fefel was a member of Marnier's Bethel United Methodist Church, Mariner's Bethel Choir, the Dorcas Circle at Mariner's Bethel, a charter member of the She-Shells, past president of the Lord Baltimore Women's Club, past president of the Ladies Boumi Shrine, Baltimore, past president of the Women's Republican Club and a member of the Red Hats Society Red Hot Rebels and the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Fefel in 1996; and a son, Wayne Fefel in 2002.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Joyce Fefel; a brother, William "Bob" Kelley; four stepgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Marnier's Bethel United Methodist Church, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church, 81 Central Avenue, Ocean View, DE 19970.
