Jesse R. Meadows, 53 GREENWOOD - Jesse R. Meadows, of Greenwood, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was 53. Born in Easton, Md., on June 27, 1956, Mr. Meadows was the son of Annie Amelia Blockston McGlothin of Federalsburg, Md., and the late Thomas Robert Meadows. His wife, Jessica Meadows, died Feb. 8, 2007. Mr. Meadows was a diesel mechanic and had worked for various businesses throughout the mid-shore area. In addition to his mother, Mr. Meadows is survived by his daughter, Miranda K. Meadows of Greenwood; two sisters, Betty Jean McGlothin of Greensboro and Kimberly A. Meadows of Federalsburg; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 14, in the Denton Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 until 5 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon at the Moore Funeral Home, in Denton, Md. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial donations to the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St., Denton, MD 21629, to help defray funeral expenses. delmarvaobits.com.
