Jeannette W. Graham, 93

SMYRNA - Jeannette W. Graham of Smyrna passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, in her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was 93.

Mrs. Graham was born July 26, 1914, in Sudlersville, Md., daughter of the late George L. and Mary (Burris) Wooleyhand.

Mrs. Graham worked for many years at Playtex in Dover and The Paddock in Smyrna.

For many years she and her husband, Wilson, owned and operated Graham"s Market and rental homes in the Smyrna area.

She was an alumni of Sudlersville High School and a spousal member of the Veterans of the 29th Combat Engineers.

Mrs. Graham"s greatest joy was her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Wilson Graham, in 1985; her grandson, W. Robert Carter Jr., in 1997; and her sister, Audrey W. Green, earlier this year.

Mrs. Graham is survived by her daughter and son, Betty D. and Jack B. Flowers of Smyrna; two stepdaughters, Barbara G. Hiortdahl and Nancy Anderson and families of California; four granddaughters, Cathy C. and Donald K. Shaner, Cheryl C. and Jeffrey A. Hurlock, Carla M. Cassell-Carter and Jeffrey L. Mandes, Carol C. and Harry G. Rhodes of Smyrna and Clayton; 10 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren, all of Smyrna and Clayton; and a wonderful friend, Mae Chase of Smyrna.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call two hours prior to the services.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
