SEAFORD - Jeanette Virginia Durr, 86, of here died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. Born in Hurlock, Md., she was the daughter of the late Ida Mae Cannon and Clarence Lee Cannon, Sr. Her husband, Robert Lee Durr, has preceded her in death. Cherished memories will remain with: three daughters, Marian Sanders of Laurel, Brenda Carver and Inez Williams, both of Seaford; seven sisters, Angeline Woolford, Gertrude Cannon, Florence Cannon, Geraldine Cannon, and Gladys (Leon) Robinson, all of Seaford, Diane (Herbert Lee) Sheppard, and Shirley Gray of Lincoln; one granddaughter, Paula (Jeffery) Benson of Seaford; two grandchildren, Iesha Savage of Spain and Kiera Benson of Seaford; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends. She will lie in repose on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m., at Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, 28 Church Street, Bridgeville. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Rev. Baron Hopkins will be the Officiating Pastor. Interment will be in the Middleford Cemetery in Concord. A ministry of comfort and dignity is being provided by the Lewis N.
