Jeanette Viola French, 80
DELMAR - Jeanette Viola French of Delmar, formerly of Greenwood, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 80.
Mrs. French was born May 17, 1926, in Frederica, daughter of the late Oliver and Bessie Mae (Wyatt) Schuler.
She was a homemaker, raising six children.
While at the nursing home, she enjoyed attending church services, painting, reading and playing bingo and all sorts of games. She was well loved by everybody at the nursing home.
Mrs. French was a member of Faith Fellowship in Preston, Md.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Albert M. French Sr.
She is survived by four sons, Philip Schuler of Milton, Albert M. French Jr. of Greenwood, Eddie J. French of Seaford and Leroy O. French of Greenwood; two daughters, Catherine E. Steel of Bridgeville and Linda M. Steel of Lincoln; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Oliver Schuler of Elkton, Md.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in Fleischauer Funeral Home, West Market Street, Greenwood, where services will follow.
Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
