Jean Holcomb Leftwich

MAGNOLIA - Jean Holcomb Leftwich, of Magnolia, died peacefully Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at home with her husband by her side. She was 71. Mrs. Leftwich was born March 16, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pa. She was a proud army wife and homemaker, and enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, flower arranging, cooking, oil painting and taking walks on the beach at Rehoboth and Bethany Beach. Mrs. Leftwich was a member of the Dover Century Club and Delmarvelous Quilters. Mrs. Leftwich is survived by her husband of 53 years, Arnold F. Leftwich of Magnolia; cousins, Steve Marshall and his wife Kristy of Fairfax, Va., David Marshall and his wife Karen of Apex, N.C.; and numerous friends in the Blue Hen Power Squadron and The Milford Community Band. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901; or The Michael J.
