SMYRNA - Born March 26, 1929 in Janesville, Wis., Jan died on her 80th birthday with many of her family gathered around her bedside. She was the daughter of Neil C. Angevine and Lovina Wright Angevine. Jan's older sister, Madelynn (Lynn) Angevine Blake lives in Naples, Fla., with her husband John Blake; and her older brother, Neil Scott Angevine lives in Orange Park, Fla., with his wife Geri. Jan married Arvil Gordon Conk on June 2, 1951, in Saint Louis, Mo. They had six children, James Gordon Conk, (deceased), Randolph Neil Conk of Southfield, Mich., Terri Su Lewis of Smyrna, Lorraine Jo Trail of Burke, Va., Barbara Lynn Boswell of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Catherine Louise Coop of Lee's Summit, Mo. They had 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at the Faries Funeral Home on Main St., in Smyrna. The family will be available at the funeral chapel one hour early for visitation, and we will plan to have a reception after the service in a location to be announced later.
