WILMINGTON - Janis Marshall, 64, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Wilmington, after her struggle with cancer. With her previous last names Davis and Conaway, Janis was born on January 7, 1951 in Milford. She graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 1970 and retired from ILC, Dover in 2000 where she worked as a seamstress. Janis was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice Parker and Lewellan Davis; guardians, Mildred and Chester Williams; and her sister, Tracy Davis. She is survived by her son, Johnathan Conaway; daughter, Mia Conaway-Howell; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Conaway; grandsons, Rickey Howell and Johnathan Singletary; sister, Geraldine Davis; brothers, John Parker, Craig Davis, Wendell Davis; special cousin, Sharlene Dial; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. A memorial for close family and friends will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 23115 Slaughter Neck Road, Lincoln, DE 19960.
