DOVER - Jane I. Ewell went home to be with Jesus on Monday, March 28, 2011. She was born on Aug. 31, 1929, in Silver Springs, N.Y., the daughter of the late Melvin and Loretta Morgan. She moved to Marydel, Md., in 1964, and has lived in Delaware since 1986. Mrs. Ewell formerly lived at Silver Lake Nursing Center and Luther Towers. Before her illness, she enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and dominoes, and was a friend to everyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Martin and Paul; and two brothers, Melvin and Walter Morgan. She is survived by her husband, Milton who resides in Florida; two sons, Mark and Philip; two daughters and son-in-law, Margie and Ken Clendaniel, and Marcia Strauss; seven grandchildren, Ken Clendaniel Jr., Crystal Hickman, Chris Strauss, Carissa Stevens, Alena Ewell, Derick Ewell, and Elizabeth Agresta; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be noon, Thursday, March 31, at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover, where friends may call at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in the Templeville Cemetery, Templeville, Md.
