DOVER - Jamie Lynn Barrett passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Jamie was born on July 3, 1982 in Dover, daughter of Gordon M. Barrett and the late Linda J. "Lynn" (VanDevander) Smith.
Ms. Barrett was a life-long Kent County resident who graduated from Caesar Rodney High School in 2000. Over the years she worked in a variety of retail, sales, and real estate jobs, most recently at Simply Charming in Wyoming. She enjoyed crafts, furniture refinishing, beach time, and family movie nights.
She is survived by two sons, Quentin W. Roach and Colin B. Roach both of Camden-Wyoming; her father, Gordon M. Barrett and stepmother Kim Bomberger of Camden-Wyoming; her stepfather, Gregory P. Smith and his wife Andrea Bunnucci-Smith of Camden-Wyoming; a sister, Taylor L. Smith of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a grandmother, Elizabeth A. Barrett of Dover; and an aunt, Grace B. Cilento of Middletown.
Friends may call between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Camden-Wyoming. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. with burial following at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden-Wyoming.
