James 'Jim' Wolf, 76 DOVER - James "Jim" Wolf, 76, of Dover, passed away after a lengthy illness Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was born on Nov. 5, 1933, in Dover, to Cummins and Arlis Bryant Wolf. Mr. Wolf was a mechanically gifted man who enjoyed fixing all types of machinery. He was a hard working man of integrity who provided well for his family. He honorably served his country when he was drafted into the Army and stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his father, Cummins Wolf; son, William "Bill" Cristy; daughter, Madonna Wolf Davis; two brothers, John and Ivan Wolf; and a sister, Minnie Cubbage. He is survived by his mother, Arlis Bryant Wolf of Wyoming; daughter and her husband, Katherine Cristy Donahue and Terry of North Carolina; son and his wife, John James Cristy and Debbie of Pennsylvania; daughter and her husband, Deborah Wolf Olson and Chris of South Carolina; sister and her husband, Georgia Wolf Irwin and Chandler of Chesapeake, Md.; sister and her husband, Ellen Wolf Cavins and Phil of Dover; sister and her husband, Doris Wolf Brown and Jay of Wyoming; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Wolf was fortunate to have many friends and family who assisted him greatly as his health declined. They tirelessly ensured he received necessary care as did his long time friends Doris and Joe Bean and Ammon and Lizzie Yoder. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, at the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover. Friends may also call Saturday one hour before the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, family would like donations to go to Delaware Hospice, 911 Lotus Plaza, Dover, DE 19901; or Dover Modern Maturity Center-Meals on Wheels, 1121 Forest Ave., Dover, DE 19904.
