Georgetown - Mr. James Stillman passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015 at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown, the son of the late Morris and Rose Panchanski Stillman in New York City, N.Y. Jimmy worked for the Louis Goldsmith Company, later Kaiser Roth Co., as a men's clothing salesman for over 45 years. True to his calling, he was impeccably dressed in his youth and throughout his life. Jimmy and Doris, his wife, enjoyed traveling in Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean together and with children and grandchildren. Also, they love fishing and crabbing with his siblings and family. His outgoing, warm, and accepting personality made him unforgettable in many people's lives. Life was good. Jimmy is predeceased by one son, Richard Stillman; and one step-daughter, Patricia Binkley (Russ). Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Patricia (James) Powell; two sisters, Frances Shaw and Marcia Klein; and one brother, Harry Stillman. He is also survived by grandchildren, Benjamin Stillman Powell (Rebecca); and great-grandcildren, Austin and Brooklyn, Andrew Jee Stillman Powell (Sherri) and Amelia; great-granddaughter; Jamie Lin Si Powell and Cameron, great-grandson; and stepgrandchildren, Greg D'Ambrosio and Cindy D'Ambrosio. Services will be held at Seaside Jewish Community, 18970 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971 on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Delaware 19963.
