GREENSBORO, Md. - James Hamilton Easter Sr. of Greensboro died Friday, July 13, 2007, in his home. He was 95.
Mr. Easter was born Dec. 31, 1911, in Highland, son of the late Robert A. and Henrietta (Smith) Easter.
He graduated from Strayer Business College.
Mr. Easter was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, working with radar systems. He earned the rank of lieutenant.
He was a certified public accountant, worked for the Bromo-Seltzer Co. and went on to retire from the American Totalizer Co., both in Baltimore.
Mr. Easter spent much of his retirement in Florida, returning to Maryland with his wife a few years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Clare Easter; two sons, Dr. James Hamilton Easter Jr. of Dover, Del., and James Henry Easter of Greensboro; a sister, Mary Frances Easter of Baltimore; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville.
