SEAFORD - James Earl Price was born May 29, 1939, the son of the late Sarah Curtis Cox and James Price. He was educated in the public school district of Dorchester Co., Md. Price previously worked for United Van Lines, Covey Foods, and Gardner's. James recently married the love of his life Dorothy Nichols. They had devoted many years together and he was a very devoted father and friend. He loved sports and spending time with his family. He departed this life on June 13, 2013 at Christiana Care Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Price; his daughter, Keli Nichols; sisters, Mildred Ringgold, Jacquliyn Cox, Darlene Parker, Barbara Atkin; a brother, Eugene Cox; step sons, William Nichols and Eugene Camper; three grandsons, JaQuan, ShaQuan, and Kieon; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at United Deliverance Bible Center in Laurel at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
