GREENWOOD - James "Jimmy" Banks went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. James had a large family who loved him. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his father David Banks and his mother Susan Banks (Miller). Jimmy is survived by his wife, Leta Banks of Greenwood and her two sons, Josh and David Pinder; his two daughters, Katie Hitzman and her husband, Chad of Baltic, S.D., and Tonya Chapdelaine and her husband, DeWayne of Baltic, S.D.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Angie West and her husband, Randy of Sioux Falls, S.D., Choni Schwieson and her husband, Dallas of Romana, S.D., and Sara Reierson and her husband, Wayne of Pollock, S.D.; two brothers, Billy Banks and his wife, Cheryl of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Danny Banks and his wife, Doris of Colorado Springs, Co.; a step-mother, Irene Banks of Brownsville, Texas; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 11:00 a.m.to 12:00 noon, when family and friends may call at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market Street, Greenwood, DE 19950. Burial will be private.
