SMYRNA - James Arnold Gonce passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. James was a retired Teamster of Local 326. James is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Diana; his daughters, Erica Clarke (Phil) and Erin Marando (Michael); his son, Gregory Mathena (Kathy); four grandchildren, Brooke Mathena, Grace and Evan Marando and Finley Clarke; his brother, Gary; his sister, Paula Gonce-Woytko (Joseph); sister-in-law, Loran Moore (Chris); brother-in-law, Timothy Triance (Karen); and his niece, nephew and lots of cousins. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park in Dover.
