Jacqueline A. Williams
Born in Federica, Delaware daughter of Roberta Edith Benson (nee Powell) & Francis Benson, Sr. Cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, and aunt. Departed this life after a valiant battle with leukemia, on April 17, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Virgil Lee Williams; adored niece/daughter, Victoria Ratcliffe; elder brother, Francis Benson; and younger brother, Edmund Benson, Sr.
She is survived by her children, as well as numerous grandchildren. Also, her sisters, Mrs. Ada Watson of Louisville, KY, and Mrs. Mary Gardener of Dover, Delaware will miss her dearly.
Jacqueline's niece, Mrs. Georgette F. Rodriguez reflected on her aunt's legacy as a woman from a generation where the greatest joy was in maintaining a well-organized home, looking after her family. Remarking, "She was a devout, selfless woman, caring... always looking out for the well-being of others." She managed to navigate her professional career while balancing home-life. She will be missed for her candor, wit, humility and of all things her unconditional love. Requiescat in pace.
