Jack B. Blehart, 78 WYOMING - Jack B. Blehart of Wyoming, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, after a lengthy illness. He was 78. He was born July 29, 1930, born and raised in Western Pa., to the late Anna and John J. Blehart. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Jack worked in the steel mills, taught math and retired from Western Electric/AT&T. More recently he and his wife Pauline were owners of Curves in Woodbury, N.J. He always enjoyed entertaining friends, gardening, golf, Wesley College and pro football. Jack has been an active member of Wild Quail Golf and Country Club, and the Camden Wyoming Moose Lodge 203, and an active supporter of ARC of Delaware. Most recently he has enjoyed outings with this his friends in the Hospice Lunch Group and the Over The Hill Gang. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Pauline Wick Blehart. He is survived by a niece, Dawn Landers of Latrobe, Pa.; three nephews, Forrest J. Best and his wife Nancy Best of Greensburg, Pa., Richard Blehart of Pa., and Robert Blehart of Washington, and his devoted pets, Robin and Tucker. At his request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901. Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapel, Dover.
