MILLINGTON - Ivadell 'Iva' R. Goad of Millington, Md., died on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016 at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown. Mrs. Goad was born in Willis Va., Floyd County, the daughter of the late Lewis M. and Lurenda "Toy" Dalton Reece. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Goad was a member of the Myersfort Baptist Church, in Willis, Va. She enjoyed reading and traveling, as well as being entertained at Dover Downs. Family was the most important thing in her life. Mrs. Goad is survived by her husband of 55 years and 5 months, Roy J. Goad; three sons, Jeffery A. Goad of Jessup, Md., Neal M. Goad and his fiancée Sarah Ruewer of Chestertown, Md. and Shawn T. Goad and his wife Lori of Millington, Md.; a daughter, Amie E. Glanding and her husband Charles Jr. of Millington, Md.; seven grandchildren, Shawn M. Goad and Savannah C. Goad both of Millington, Md., Gunnar M. Goad of Houston, Del., Alyssa E. Jackson and Chase E. Glanding, Logan Welch and Christopher Welch all of Millington, Md., a great Granddaughter, Kelsie C. Davis of Millington, Md.; two sisters, Regina R. Nester and Ila Violet Reece of Willis Va.; a brother Ward Reece and wife Sandra, also of Willis, Va.; sisters-in-laws, Coleen Hutchens of Floyd, Va., Carolyn Goad and Susie Ann Overstreet and her husband James of Willis, Va. She is also survived by her devoted friends Megan Dill and Jordyn Rostien. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Claudine Dillon, Hazel Turman, and Glenna Phillips, and four brothers, Junior L. Reece, Julious Ray Reece, Theodore Reece, and Joe Billy Reece. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 W. Cypress St., Millington, Md., where friends and family are invited to call from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Interment will be in Crumpton Cemetery, following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory to the Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, P.O. Box 17029, Baltimore, Md. 21297-1029. www.fhnfuneralhome.com
