DOVER - Inel D. Pierre of Dover departed this life March 23, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover after a lengthly illness. He was 73.
Inel was born in Haiti in Dec. 24, 1933, to the late Ivane Pierre and Almacius Martin.
On Feb. 4, 1967, he married Francesse Cloiseau and together they had five children; Enarld, Irvelle, Evens, Elisabeth and Kettia. Inel also had three additional children; Patrick Verger, Carline Pierre and Joanne Deandre.
In 1983 Inel came into the United States to find a better life. In 1994, he sent for his wife, then later his children. Inel did more than his best for his family. He was a very good father and a loyal friend to many others.
He enjoyed music, watching the news and most of all playing with his grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memories of his wife, Marie Francesse Pierre of Florida; three sons, Enarld Pierre of Milford, Evens Pierre of Connecticut, and Patrick Verger of New York; five daughters, Carline Pierre and Irvelle Pierre, both of Haiti, Elisabeth Pierre and Kettia Pierre, both of Florida, and Joanne Deandre of Dover; nine grandchildren, Narla, Donald, Inel, Francesse, Irvenie, Anika, Tayna, Vladimir and Anabel; one sister, Janine Durand; one uncle, Brulien Pierre and his wife, Sonia Poitevien; two brothers-in-law, Serge Franscois and his wife, Gisler Roche and wife; his best friend Leo Jean Baptiste; two daughters-in-law, Shirley Pierre and Mireille Patrice; and two sons-in-law, Youri Latortue and Ernst Metellus.
