Howard Cox, 78 ROCK HALL, Md. - Howard Cox, 78, of Rock Hall, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010, at his home. He was born on Sept. 7, 1931, in Willow Grove, to the late Lee and Grace Glanden Cox. He and his wife were owners of H & E Farm Equipment in the Dover area for 42 years. They jointly owned B & C Equipment with friends Rainger and Twila Buehler for 18 years. After retiring in 1996, he enjoyed a leisurely lifestyle along the Chesapeake Bay at his home in Rock Hall, Md. He found great joy in outdoors activities, grass cutting, fishing and spending time with friends and former customers that he served. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Rosengren Cox in 2009; sister, Mary Ellen Millman; and brother, Leroy Cox. He is survived by son, Jeff Cox; daughter and her husband, Becky and Tom McVan; brothers, Allen Cox, George Cox, and Robert Cox; sisters, Shirley Shane, Naomi Breazeale, and Cindy Sanderson; and grandsons, Ryan Cox, Conor McVan, and Justin Cox. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. Friends may also call Wednesday one hour before the time of the service at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Rock Hall Vol. Fire Company, P.O. Box 577, Rock Hall, MD 21661.
