Heron Proud 5K upcoming in Middletown
By MIDDLETOWN — The Heron Proud 5K is scheduled for Sept. 21 at St. Anne’s Episcopal School, 211 Silver Lake Road.
The 5K benefits the school and Premiere Charities Soup Kitchen. Vendors, food and drinks will be available, along with other amenities in a family-friendly environment.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., with a Heron Obstacle Dash for those 5 and younger at 8:55 a.m. and 5K at 9 a.m. A Slime Run starts at 10 a.m. and the event ends at 1 p.m.
Top finisher awards will be given, along with unisex T-shirts.
