GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Florida’s Jon Sumrall, like most coaches, welcomes as much external motivation as possible. He’s not getting any help from oddsmakers this week. The 21st-ranked Gators are 3½-point favorites against No. 4 Mississippi ahead of Saturday’s game at Florida Field. The line opened at 1½ and has since moved more toward the home team. Sumrall asks “Who’s got us favored against these guys?” Everyone in Vegas. He adds “There’s a lot of good drugs out there, huh?”
ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia coach Kirby Smart expects running back Nate Frazier to return against Oklahoma on Saturday. Frazier left Georgia’s 45-17 win over Arkansas with what Smart later described as a “ding.” Smart said Monday that Frazier should be fine and is day to day. Frazier exited in the third quarter after rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown. The Bulldogs finished with 254 rushing yards. Quarterback Gunner Stockton had a team-high 97 rushing yards, and Chauncey Bowens had three rushing scores. Smart was less certain about the return of Tyriq Green, Chase Linton, and Isiah Canion. Canion left the Arkansas game with a leg injury. Linton and Green were ruled out beforehand with lower-body injuries.

UNDATED (AP) — Mississippi has moved into the top five of the AP Top 25 college football poll with its win over LSU. The Tigers remain in the top 10, and Florida and Mississippi State joined the rankings, giving the SEC 10 teams in the latest poll. The Rebels jumped to No. 4 after defeating LSU 32-24. LSU slipped to No. 10. Texas holds the top spot for the second week, followed by Georgia, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, and Indiana. Louisville made the biggest gain, rising to No. 16. Texas A&M fell to No. 23 after losing to Kentucky.
UNDATED (AP) — The Big 12 has three teams in the top 15 of The Associated Press Top 25 for the first time this season and four ranked in all. No. 9 BYU has its highest ranking since it popped into the top 10 for one week late last season. No. 11 Texas Tech and No. 15 Utah also have their highest rankings of the season. Houston is No. 23 and four other Big 12 teams are receiving votes. The Big 12 is shooting for two teams in the College Football Playoff for the first time.
UNDATED (AP) — Three of the top four seeds in the College Football Playoff would be from the Southeastern Conference and two Big 12 teams would be on the bracket based on The Associated Press Top 25 poll. Texas, Georgia, Notre Dame and Mississippi would be the top four seeds. Based on the AP rankings, the CFP would open with No. 9 seed BYU at No. 8 seed Alabama, No. 12 seed Boise State at No. 5 seed Indiana, No. 10 seed LSU at No. 7 seed Ohio State and No. 11 seed Texas Tech at No. 6 seed Miami.
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Trinidad Chambliss was emotional after leading No. 8 Mississippi to a 32-24 win over No. 7 LSU and his former coach, Lane Kiffin. Chambliss says “it meant more than other games.” That was evident when he shouted a profanity during his postgame ESPN interview. Chambliss apologized, saying his emotions got away from him. He finished 33 of 48 for 363 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, and he ran for a tiebreaking, 14-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Kiffin coached Chambliss at Ole Miss last season before leaving to take the LSU job ahead of the College Football Playoff.
