Harrington - Henry Leon Miller, Sr. known to some as "Fat daddy" was born on July 26, 1963 to the late Sandy Thomas and Viney Alice Miller. Henry graduated from Milford Senior High and have some college at the Del-Tech in Georgetown. In Which helped him in his endeavors. Such as becoming a man, marrying and raising three beautiful children. Whom he loved dearly.
Henry was a very hard-working man, loving husband, wonderful father, brother and uncle. He was a cousin, friend and a neighborhood dad. Henry started working at a young age to name a few of his jobs. The Milford dinner, Vandvorst Tree Services, Picketts Concrete, Customs Concrete and Kent and Sussex Industries. Henry also served as one of Houston's finest Fire Fighters.
Henry has taken his wings and reunited with his dad, Sandy Thomas, mother, Viney Alice, brother, Sandy Thomas JR, sister, Carrie Veronica Antonie and a host of other family members and friends.
Henry will sadly and deeply be missed by his wife, June Marie Miller; son, Henry Leon Jr.; two daughters, Tabitha Monica Marie and KaSandra DeAlice Miller all of Harrington; his sister, Myrtis Jordan (husband Bobby) of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Sandra Miller of Milford; two sister-in-laws, Kathy Tannehill (husband Gerald) of Troy, Mo., Debbie Blew of Smyrna; one brother-in-law, Robert L. Blew Jr. (wife Deborah) of Milford; in laws Robert L. Blew Sr. (wife Barbara) of Harrington, six nieces, Korri Antoine of Palm Beach, Fla., Yunita Miller Herndon Ga. Latrice Waters of Prattville, Ala., Kanela Whidbee, Destiny Whidbee, Jazmin Thomas all of Milford; two nephews, Cleveland A. Whidbee of Milford, Dury Miller of Atlanta, Ga.; a great niece, Bailey Celestine of Palm Beach, Fla.; and a great nephew, Nathan Waters of Prattville, Ala.; an adopted brother, Nathaniel Oglesby. Some special friends along with a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Milford Church of the Nazarene, 11 N.W. Salevan Place, Milford, DE 19963 with visitation two hours prior to service. There will also be a public viewing on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 274 N. Rehoboth Blvd., Milford, DE 19963 from 6 to 8 p.m.
