DOVER - Henry D. Byler passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 74 years and nine days. Henry was born on March 30, 1939 in Lawrence County, Pa., son of the late Daniel and Lena Byler. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; one sister; one grandson; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter. Henry is survived by his wife, Maryann (Byler) Byler of 52 years, 11 months and 18 days; six sons, William Ray (Elizabeth), Mervin (Mattie), Alvin (Martha) of Ky., David (Emma) of Del., Danny (Susan) of Del., and Lavern (Malinda) of Del.; seven daughters, Laura Fern (Ervin) of Del., Elizabeth Mae (Andy) of Ill., Maryann (Cristy) of Ky., Lena (Henry) of Ky., Lydia Mae (Norman) of Del., Miriam (Eli) of Del., and Sylvia (Sam) of Del.; 74 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one sister; and one brother. Friends may call at the family residence at 767 Victory Chapel Rd., Dover until day of service. Service will be 9 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the residence of Eli Yoder, 1121 Victory Chapel Road, Dover. Burial will follow at the Dover Amish Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
