She was an original "Rosie the Riveter", building airplanes in Canton during WWII. Later she was employed by Wesley Jr. College Library. She was predeceased by her husband Carl Zimmerman, her sister Beatrice Koplock and grandson Christopher Roshong She will be remembered as a devoted mother and a loving, caring "grammie", but mostly for the sparkle in her eyes when she encountered orneriness. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapels. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Church, PO Box 1374, Dover, DE 19903 or a charity of your choice.
