GEORGETOWN - Helen Hester Walker passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Helen was born, Feb. 8, 1943, in Harbeson, to the late, Theodore and Emma (Spencer) Sockriter. She was a self employed C.P.A. for over 20 years, before retiring, and she also was a manager for the Lewes Citgo Gas Station from 1990-1996. Helen was a member of A.A.R.P. She enjoyed reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Walker. Helen is survived by her daughter, Gigi Schneider, of Harbeson; a son, Bryan Gray, of Georgetown; two brothers, Bill Sockriter, of Florida, and Buddy Sockriter, of Milton; a sister, Fran Rhea, of California; eight grandchildren, Meghan and Tiara Schneider; Dejavu, Kainami, Syrian, and Akiva Grant; and Kevin and Bryan Gray, Jr.; and a great-grandson, Traig Smith, Jr. Services will be held privately.
