DOVER - Harry Milton Trice passed away May 18, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Trice was born in Seattle, Wash., to the late Harry Hunter Trice and Iris Victoria Ginn Trice. He had served for 20 years in the United States Air Force as aircraft maintenance, launch and recovery and retired as a TSgt. After his military career he worked for Kraft in the warehouse and then Kent Sussex Industries, retiring in 2015. An avid musician, he played the piano and organ and was in the marching band playing the saxophone during his high school years. As a youth he was involved in the Boy Scouts, earning both his Duty to God and his Eagle Badges. Mr. Trice had also served as Assistant Scout Leader. At the age of 19 till he was 21 he served a mission in Billings, Mont. for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. He enjoyed bicycling and being a handy man. Mr. Trice is survived by his wife of 29 years, Barbara A. Thompson Trice, of Dover; children, Stephen Trice and his wife Lee, of Dover, Alison Clampet and her husband, Brent, of St. Louis, Mo., Stacy Trice, of Magnolia, Brian, Joshua, Matthew and Christina Trice, all of Dover; siblings, Jane Martin and her husband, Steve, of Cowpens, S.C., Elaine Collins and her husband, Bill, of Decatur, Ala., Ellen Campbell and her husband, Dave, of Duncan, S.C., Mark Trice and his wife, Leslie, of Kaysville, Utah; grandchildren, Stephen, JR, Zachery, Meisha, Nathan and Cullen; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 Monday evening and 11 to 12 noon Tuesday morning. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.
