FREDERICA - Harry Allen Lawyer, IV passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at his home.
He was born on July 23, 1959, in Trenton, New Jersey to Patricia Emma Paterson and the late Harry Allen Lawyer, III.
Harry was an active member of the community, and was a part of many clubs, including APA, American Legion, and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; the outdoors was always a mini escape for him. He was big into sports, watching wrestling on tv, and a huge Philadelphia fan, you'd always find him routing for his Eagles, Flyers, and the Phillies! Throughout the years, he was Cub Scout Leader and Little League Coach. He spent many years as Santa Claus.
He is survived by his lady of over 20 years, Dennise Bruso; and their son, Brandon Lawyer of Bennington, VT, previously both from Greenwood, DE; mother, Patricia; and sister, Tracy Lawyer Reynolds (Shawn) all of New Jersey.
Masks are recommended.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, DE. Friends may call one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the First State Animal Center and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
