VIOLA, Del. - Harry A. 'Al' Jarrell, Jr., of Venice, Florida, died July 19, 2011. He was born April 30, 1926, in Viola, to Harry A. and Elsie (Blood) Jarrell, Sr. He moved to the Venice area from Smyrna. He was a U.S. Air force veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Vonnetta G. Jarrell of Venice, Florida; his sons, Harry A. Jarrell, III of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and Gregory W. Jarrell of Wilmington; his sister, Maryann Lamberson of Dover; his Brother, Winvert Jarrell of Lewes; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William B. and Ralph L. Jarrell; four sisters, Gertrude Frasher, Sally Reed, Emma Gooden and Pauline Monismith. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on August 20, 2011, at the Woodside United Methodist Church in Woodside, Delaware. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodside United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 45, Woodside, Delaware 19980.
