TOWNSEND - H. Ray Gruwell, 75, of Townsend, passed away on Nov. 3, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Burris Gruwell; two daughters, Cathy L. Gruwell and Mary Lou Warwick; two grandchildren; a brother, Charles F. Gruwell and a sister-in-law, Jerri Wallis. Friends may visit Sunday, Nov. 7, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad St, Middletown. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 8, Townsend Freewill Baptist Church, 4519 S. DuPont Highway, Townsend, where friends may visit from noon to 1 p.m. Interment in Townsend Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Northeast Christian Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 416, Middletown, DE 19734-0416. www.daniels-hutchison.com.
