Zedney, 60 TOWNSEND - Gudrun T. Larsen Zedney, of Townsend, passed away peacefully at the home of her mother on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012. She was 60. Mrs. Zedney was born April 10, 1951, in Bronx, N.Y., the daughter of the late Egon Larsen and Frances Larsen of Townsend. She worked for many years as a CNA. Goody was an avid animal lover. She had rescued many cats and dogs and took great care of them. Her cats and dogs were her babies. Goody also enjoyed collecting fossils, and stone and gem artifacts. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 10 a.m. Burial will be privately held at a later date. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Vitas Hospice for the excellent care that they provided for Goody.
