DENTON, Md. - Gregory K. Butler Sr. of Denton died Sunday, April 1, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford (Del.) Memorial Hospital. He was 45.
Born in Milford, Mr. Butler was the son of Cornelius Butler of Denton and the late Martha Moore Butler.
He attended North Caroline High School in Ridgely.
For many years, Mr. Butler was associated with the family farming and clam shell business. He was a CDL driver for the Guardian Co., Harrington, for the past year.
He previously was an independent driver for Salisbury Brothers in Ridgely and Pict-Sweet in Bridgeville.
In addition to his father, Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Deborah A. Butler of Denton; one daughter, Annie Butler of Easton; two sons, Gregory K. Butler Jr. and Bryan K. Butler, both of Denton; and two sisters, Cornelia Jane Dickerson of Cambridge, and Constance Shane Hulliger of Denton.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Moore Funeral Home, 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may call Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m.
Interment will be in the Denton Cemetery, Denton.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caroline Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 362, Denton, MD 21629.
