SMYRNA - Gloria H. Jackson of Smyrna, died on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 in the Bay Health Center, Kent General Hospital in Dover. She was 82. Mrs. Jackson worked for the State of Delaware Motor Vehicle Administration, as a customer service representative and information processor. Prior to her state employment, Mrs. Jackson worked for the Baltimore Business Forms Corporation in Smyrna, as well as Leeds Travelwear, in Clayton. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed shopping on T.V. and supporting the local Moose Lodges. She also enjoyed the slots and Karaoke and in her early years enjoyed camping with her late husband and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was predeceased by her husband, Franklin "Bud" Jackson Jr. in 1994; and one brother, John Sheldon. She is survived by one son, Charles David Jackson of Clayton; one brother, Ed Sheldon of New Jersey; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at Fellows Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St. Millington, Md., where friends and family may call one hour prior.
