Gloria D. Breeding, 59

FREDERICA - Gloria D. Breeding of Frederica died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in her home surrounded by the family she loved immensely. She was 59.

Mrs. Breeding was born in Easton, Md., daughter of Ethel (Phillips) Link of Milford and the late W. Allen Phillips.

She worked various jobs over the years, but her main focus was being a homemaker.

Her passion in life was being a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

In her spare time Mrs. Breeding enjoyed traveling and spoiling her grandchildren tremendously. She will be remembered as a kind and loving person and will be greatly missed by her close family and numerous friends.

She is survived by her mother, Ethel Phillips Link of Milford; her loving husband of 39 years, Walter L. Breeding Jr.; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Denise B. and H. Joshua Swain of Milford and Christine B. and Craig Jacobs of Boothwyn, Pa.; a brother, J. Richard A. Phillips of Milford; her grandchildren, Madison P. Swain, Justin W. Swain and Claire L. Jacobs.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Bloomery Methodist Church Cemetery, Smithville, Md.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Felton United Methodist Church, 101 Main St., Felton, DE 19943; or Tunnell Cancer Center, Beebe Medical Center 424 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
