WILMINGTON - Gilbert K. Davis Sr., passed away Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, in St. Francis Hospital. He was 87. He is the father of G. Kenneth Davis Jr., (Gloria) and Ronald C. Davis (Denise). He is also survived by brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 3079 New Castle Ave., New Castle, DE 19720, with viewing from 8 to 9:45 a.m. only. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Arrangements by Congo Funeral Home.
